Due to the large number of horses being abandoned in these economically difficult times or because of the crash of the racing industry, Refuge RR is at wit's end trying to find temporary or permanent foster homes.  Without foster homes, we could be limited as to how many horses we can save from slaughter and euthanasia.  Consider sharing your home with a rescue horse.  If this is not feasible, then perhaps you could sponsor one or make a donation.If you can foster please email Karin at This e-mail address is being protected from spambots. Most of the horses that are sent to the refuge have had very tough lives , many have had
